What is Blast?
Blast sets itself apart from movie-reviewing apps by putting the user in the driver’s seat to share their experiences watching movies.
When you open Blast, instead of being prompted with trending movies with the highest scores, you’ll be greeted with your own personal feed designed to capture your friends’ most recent special movie moments, highlighting what they’ve watched and at which theaters.
Personal Feed
Here, you’ll be introduced to our two scoring systems: Movie grade and Blast grade. Sometimes you come across movies that may not be an objective 10/10, but gave you a memorable experience. In order to capture that intangible value that typically gets lost, our Blast grade provides users an opportunity to rate a movie strictly based on their enjoyment during their showing.

It’s not just a movie that makes a watch experience special, it’s also the theater in which you view it. In the “Theaters” tab, discover hidden gems you otherwise might not have given a chance and create your own reviews for your favorite spots as well.

Lastly, on your profile page, your followers will also get an inside scoop on your taste in movies. Click on your friends’ “Favorites” to see what movies, genres, and theaters they love the most. View their favorite movie memories in the “Tickets” section and see what memories they’ll create next in their queue tab.
